Sessions

 The main themes that will be adressed during this school are :

  • Propagation of waves in complex medium, including ultra sound, infra-sound, and seismic waves

  • Origin of seismic noise and the dynamic of oceans

  • Machine Learning algorithm to analyze noise records and to detect and classify weak signals 

  • The use of new type of instrument such as Distributed Acoustic Sensors (DAS) and rotational sensors

  • Monitor the spatio-temporal evolution of the crust with application to fault systems, glacier, geothermal energy, ...

  • Seismic imaging at all scales from the deep Earth to the subsurface 

  • Evaluation of ground motion from seismic noise records
